Results

Whilst it is preferable to return to your doctor to discuss any results you may contact the practice one week after any investigations to talk to our Practice nurses who will convey any message left by your Doctor.

If results are abnormal your will be contacted to make an appointment with your doctor.

Referrals and Scripts

Except in special circumstances, a review of your medical condition is required before a referral or scripts can be provided.

For lost or repeat scripts a charge of $10.00 is required.

Contacting your Doctor

When you call you cannot always be put through to your Doctor as they maybe consulting with other patients.

However, you can leave a message with our friendly reception team and the Doctor will endeavour to return your call at the earliest opportunity. 

Medical Certificates

Medical certificates for work or school are required on the day of your illness. Medical certificates cannot be organised over the phone or by email unless a consultation with the Doctor has already taken place.

It is illegal to back date medical certificates or issue them without a consultation.

Patient Waiting Room

Our waiting rooms are beautifully furnished with and comfortable seating.

In our waiting room we have a visual health updates board, with brochures and flyers on health and wellbeing, for you to read and take home.

Television is located in both waiting rooms, for children and adults.

In the interests of all patients in the waiting room, we ask that you please keep noise to a minimum.

We request extended courtesy to your fellow patients by talking mobile calls outside or away from other patients. We would prefer if mobile devices were switched off before entering the practice.

In the interests of your health and that of fellow patients and our staff, smoking is prohibited on our premises. We can refer you to services to help you quit smoking.

We also have a pink feedback box visible in our waiting room. We encourage our patients to give any feedback on our services.

28 Drummond after hours service

We are open for consultations Wednesdays & Thursday nights until 10:00pm, Friday until 9:30pm and Saturdays from 12:00pm until 7:00pm in the after hours period.
